Descripción
Cryptocoryne wendtii is the most widespread and adaptable crypt, with green, brown and reddish varieties that shift tone with the light. It is one of the few substrate plants that thrives in hard water and low light, which makes it ideal for community tanks without special equipment. It has one famous quirk: on transplanting it usually melts away completely and regrows weeks later.
