Description

Downoi is a Thai foreground plant with narrow, wavy-edged leaves, like small curly green stars. It looks like no other aquarium plant, which is why it is used to add texture among rocks and along the front edge. It grows moderately and does well in medium light; with CO2 it becomes much more compact, and without it it grows, only slower. In the wild it lives along stream banks that dry out in summer, and it copes well with a warm tank.
