Description
Temple plant, Hygrophila corymbosa, is a thick-stemmed plant with large leaves, green or reddish-brown depending on the light, that forms a lush background in no time. It is the big sister of polysperma: just as easy and tolerant, but sturdier and with much larger leaves. It grows in low light without CO2, and with liquid fertiliser it becomes very vigorous. It needs room: in a small tank it reaches the surface within weeks and needs constant trimming.
