Description

Staurogyne repens is the foreground plant for tanks without CO2. It forms low, compact clumps of green leaves that grow creeping, and with trimming ends up as a dense carpet of five to ten centimetres. It is not as fine as a dwarf baby tears lawn, but it does not demand as much: it lives in low or medium light without CO2 injection, though with it it grows faster and more compact. It is one of the few foreground plants a beginner usually gets right first time.
